Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:
- Two and a Half Men: Now that everyone’s forgotten about his star-studded Bobby, director Emilio Estevez will soon be returning to his acting roots. In an upcoming episode of the CBS comedy, Emilio will play a drinking buddy of Charlie’s. (For those who don’t already know, Sheen is Estevez’s younger brother in real-life.) This cameo comes three years after their father, Martin Sheen, guested as Rose’s father.

Dollhouse: Does it Look as Bad as We Had Feared?

Okay - let’s face it. On paper, Dollhouse already sounds like a potential disaster.
Back in July, creator Joss Whedon (Buffy, Angel) announced he would be shooting a new pilot for his FOX series. Two months later, production on the show was temporarily halted while scripts were being tweaked.

Wednesday Ratings: Viewers Suffering from Post-Election Crash
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, America's Next Top Model, Dancing With The Stars, House, Ratings
Voters tired of political ads - and television in general - took a rest from the boob tube last night. This meant lower numbers for most programs and a disappointing season debut for Law & Order. (The show had its worst Wednesday ever.) Thanks to a rare mid-week airing of DWTS, ABC was tops with the viewers yesterday. Meanwhile, the Alphabet network was also tied with FOX in the demos.
8pm
- Dancing with the Stars (15.6 million, 3.2/9 in 18-49) was the most-watched program last night.
- Bones (3.2/9) returned to 10.1 million.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (6.6 million, 1.9/5) fell by 1 million; Gary Unmarried (6.4 million, 2.1/6) retained most of its lead-in.
- Knight Rider (5.1 million, 1.6/4) made many question why it was given a full season order.
- America’s Next Top Model (3.9 million, 2.0/6) did the same as last week.

Is Grey’s Anatomy Abandoning Its Gay Storylines?
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, ABC, Grey's Anatomy, Gossip, News
It looks like Dr. Hahn won’t be seeing much more than leaves on Grey’s Anatomy after this week. Despite the buildup to Erica’s moment of clarity with Callie last Thursday, actress Brooke Smith has been let go from the show. This shocking news comes just as Hahn’s relationship with Dr. Torres was reaching a new level.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Smith revealed that the announcement - delivered by Shonda Rhimes herself - was made last month. Ironically, Brooke was informed of her departure right after the “leaves” episode was filmed. Unfortunately, the reasoning being the casting decision has been raising a lot of speculation. (Even Patrick Dempsey seemed clueless on today’s episode of Ellen.)

90210 to Explore Teen Pregnancy?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Rumors, Spoilers

UPDATE: If you’d like to find out the name of the potentially pregnant character, click here.
Rumor has it that story lines are going to get even more complex on 90210, The CW’s Beverly Hills spin-off.
According to gossip, an already-troubled character will have a new problem added to the mix: an unexpected baby. Insiders say the show will aim to deal with issues that both teens and adults can relate to, somewhat in the way the original used to tackle its subjects. One source even says the new episodes are “getting better.”
Since they promise to contain scenes with original BH cast members like Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, I have no doubt this part of the rumor is the truth. As to the other stuff…we’ll just have to wait and see.

Even though the show celebrated Halloween two days late, The Simpsons’ annual “Treehouse of Horror” special was still timely with the viewers. Meanwhile, the Patriots/Colts football game put NBC on top with the viewers.
8pm
- Approximately 14.2 million saw the Indianapolis Colts beat the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football (5.3/12 in 18-49).
- The Simpsons (6.2/15) delivered 12.5 million.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (11.7 million, 3.8/9) was off by 500,000.
- The Amazing Race (9.8 million, 2.8/7) did about the same.
