MTV didn’t pull any punches when it came to the end of their reality project. First, there was the hour-long reunion show, a spectacle replete with cat fighting and mini-games. Next, there was the drama-infused finale, where Paris was asked to choose a BFF in either Brittany or Vanessa. But wait - there’s more! After the very drawn-out conclusion, MTV aired a 30-minute special showing Hilton’s friends welcoming the new BFF into their midst.

It was two and one-half hours of TV. And I watched it all.

Last night, Comedy Central aired ’s Christmas special for the first time. Did you miss this medley of duets, special guests and conservative comedy? A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All airs again Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and probably many more times before December is through.

This celebration of spirit began with a song and a plea from the funny pundit himself, a new ditty he hopes will become a standard so that many holiday-time royalties will go to him. At one point, the song blatantly begs for money to feed Colbert’s children. Throughout the number, Colbert struts around in fur-covered boots and lots of red. It was, from beginning to end, totally hilarious.

Jeff Henderson

After six episodes and five weeks, Food Network’s ambitious ended Sunday night. The season finale offered up everything viewers wanted to see, a delectable combination of food, drama and happy endings. If this delicious reality dish has any flaws, it’s that the season was too short and no reunion show is being presented next week.

The project all began with chef Jeff Henderson, who served hard time for selling drugs. During his incarceration, Henderson began to learn the culinary arts. Food led him to success, and today Henderson is a well-known and award-winning cook - not to mention budding reality star. His happy experiences with food led to the Chef Jeff Project, an inspiring plan to pull six young adults out of the ghetto and into an upper-class catering business.

In a highly presidential fashion, democratic White House contender bought up thirty minutes of network TV time (on several stations, no less) to directly address the American public he hopes to win over. It was all very State of the Union - and incredibly politically savvy. But did his message strike a chord with viewers?

Replete with clips of Obama’s more moving speeches and statements from fellow Democrats along with high-ranking CEOs and others, the half-hour infomercial put Barack right into the living rooms of U.S. voters. There was no stage, there were no other candidates jockeying for position or good sound bites; there was no or John McCain. It was, all in all, one of the best aspects of the entire campaign season thus far.

Dr. Drew Pinsky

Dr. Drew Pinsky, addiction specialist, recently sat down on Today to talk about the problems associated with this disease and the upcoming second season of . The season premieres Thursday, which somehow seems impossibly far away.

Pinsky said doing the show itself is “very stressful,” but not for the reasons you might think. The presence of cameras and the need to create a reality show might have added to the problem of overcoming addiction, but Dr. Drew says the cameras have a “positive effect” on the celebrity patients at the Pasadena Recovery Center. “It’s a hard reality,” Drew explained. “And that’s why we did this show.”

According to Pinsky, one in eight Americans will suffer or does suffer from substance addiction. An estimated sixteen million Americans currently need immediate treatment for this problem. That’s part of what Celebrity Rehab is all about - showing the public just how tough addiction can be, proving that addicts need serious treatment. According to , addiction is a “progressive illness” which needs to be stopped in its tracks.

Jeff HendersonI’ll admit it - I gave a little eye-roll when I saw the first promo. Chef in the kitchen mentors six young ‘uns, talking about a “life-changing experience.” Sounds like the usual reality show hype, right? But after the fourth promo, my appetite was whet. So I set the DVR. And I watched the Chef Jeff Project. It’s about to become the biggest thing on the entire - it’s a good idea to start paying attention now.

Jeff Henderson, one-time guest on and author of “Chef Jeff Cooks,” is the driving force behind the Project. He’s definitely got the kitchen cred - he’s served as executive chef to both the Café Bellagio and Caesar’s Palace, and now owns the up-and-coming Posh Urban Cuisine. But Chef Jeff isn’t your average culinary connoisseur, because he’s also got the street cred.

Jeff Henderson spent almost ten years behind bars for pushing cocaine in and around his hometown, South Central L.A. For his inspiring Project, Henderson installed six inner-city kids into his upscale catering business, hiring them on as employees.

On this week’s episode of , the girls learned that modeling wasn’t just about showing up and looking pretty. It was about discovering who you were and not being afraid to let go. It was about knowing your best traits and embracing your warts.

Given Clark’s recent elimination, the remaining eight ladies realized they couldn’t afford to take their critiques for granted. Elina still had to overcome control issues, Lauren Brie had to deliver a personality and Analeigh needed to find her niche.
