As hard as it is for me to admit, it looks like my darling Pushing Daisies will soon be pushed out the door. Despite an Obama bump for its last outing, the show couldn’t maintain the audience. Yesterday’s episode even performed lower than the last unassisted show. CBS had a good evening though. Season high numbers for the two comedies gave the network wins in both categories last night.

Anyone with a pair of ears - or any set of standards - knows one thing: Kim Zolciak can’t sing. Unfortunately, that’s something the delusional star of refuses to believe.

Despite her disastrous recording session with producer Dallas Austin - and her cringe-inducing lesson with a vocal coach (that can be seen above) - Zolciak insists her career is still a go. In an interview with Essence magazine, the woman with the “God-given talent” warned us to be on the lookout for her upcoming single.

My first song, “Tight Rope,“ will be out the first week in January, but I’m not sure when the album will be coming out. [Dallas Austin] wrote and produced it. He originally sent me three but I fell in love with the beat and lyrics. The song is about walking a tight rope with somebody. It [speaks] to my personal life and my relationship and just life in general. It definitely applies to my life, but after seeing that footage on the show where it looks like I can’t sing! I guess it makes for good television but it looked awful to me. People will just have to wait for my album to see the deal.

When Cody Linley was eliminated from this past Tuesday, most people didn’t realize they were saying goodbye to Julianne Hough as well.

In an radio interview with , the two-time DWTS winner said she would like to take some time off to concentrate on her other job. “I really, really want to focus on the music and, ya know, be taken seriously a little bit. And I think it’s hard to be on [Dancing] and be singing,“ Julianne explained. (In the above clip, you can see the 20-year-old performing “My Hallelujah Song” on the recent results show.)

So does this mean the country singer will be gone from just Season 8 (the next installment should start up again in just a few months), or could her absence be even longer than that? That’s unclear. The only thing we can say for certain is that Derek is somewhere jumping for joy right now.

Miley CyrusHere’s a big surprise: teen superstar would like to spend even more time in front of the cameras. The Disney sensation was promoting her work in Bolt when she stopped to chat with E! News about her own career desires.

“I would want to do a reality show like ‘The Real World’ because I think that’s crazy,” she told reporters. “Anyone who would do that has some serious guts.” Or issues with exhibitionism.

“I just want to be in a really nice house, with cameras following me around,” she elaborated. I actually kind of thought her life was already like that - cameras and all. We’ve certainly seen enough pictures of her in somewhat private situations. “I can just sit there, eat Cheetos, read my book, hang out all day.”

So, if Cyrus was doing a reality show, we’d all get to watch her eat junk food, read and sit around. This would absolutely tank…with any other star but her. I actually believe people would watch this gladly, and I’m quite sure someone is pitching the idea to even at this moment.

Referring to her life, Cyrus said, “It’s like a free reality show, I just don’t get paid for it.” Don’t worry, fans, Cyrus actually gets paid prettily by Disney for her work. “They’re always there,” she complained of the paparazzi.

Sure, I get it. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable to have the photogs taking shots. Why not just install cameras and sound equipment in one’s home instead?

Cody Linley and Julianne Hough on Dancing with the Stars

Last night’s episode of was dramatic on many fronts. With the finals hanging in the balance, the competition was already intense. Then Brooke performed…and the whole game changed.

After weeks and weeks of being near or at the top, Burke did something unthinkable right off the bat: she scored a 21 for the Jive. That was the lowest score she had ever received during the whole season. Although she nicely rebounded with her second number (she got a 28 for her Salsa), the door was already left open for Brooke’s fellow challengers.

Fortunately for , there couldn’t have been a better night for him to peak. Yesterday, Lance and Lacey got their first 10 ever…three of them. They were also the only couple to break the 50 point mark. (Their total was 57.) Will the inconsistent competitor be able to keep up this momentum in the finals? (Assuming the voters even put him there?)

Who proved they were worthy of a Top Three finish…and who needed more of the head judge’s help? Read on!
